Incredible scent. Incredible accuracy. Beautiful interpretation

Review for Spray version: What an amazing scent this is. This is truly a unisex fragrance that is borderline feminine as it approaches mid & drydown. It classifies as Warm Spicy, Woody, and Rosy scent. It is bang on the same adjectives I can use to describe this scent. It opens with warm spicy feel to it, probably from Saffron and Thyme combined. But it also holds Rose note clear from the beginning. As it sits on your skin, it starts to become very powdery rose scent. To a point that in the drydown it is basically a rose powdery(in my opinion) with hints of ambery sweetness. That is precisely why I think it leans borderline feminine. I love love love powdery scents and this is one phenomenal scent. I feel happy the moment I spray this and keep sniffing my wrist for next 6 to 8hr. Decent performer. Not your typical day to day perfume either. Save it from special occasions. My Rating: 9/10 - Do try a small sample, highly recommended.

Review for Oil version: What do I write about this? I was always very curious with the house of Amouage and I feel obligated to try any new offering there is haha. Upon my first application, I could definitely feel there are spicies used in this fragrance. It gives you that Ginger, Elemi, Clove, Tobacco, and maybe even slight herbaceous feel. I did not pick up enough ginger and blood orange combination up top which I was disappointed about. Maybe I will need to reapply this in winter time to get the best out of it. As it approaches drydown, it starts to become a hint bit sweeter (vanilla vibe) but remains smoky, spicy until the end. My nose is all over the place with this one. It is definitely a nice fall/winter scent. Not sure if it will grow on me much but this smells niche and quality. Performance I get about 5hr with oil but my skin is atrocious with almost every single perfume so you may get slight better result. My rating: 7/10 - Keep doing more Amouage, GP!

Review for Spray version: Let's address the elephant in the room: This is indeed a clone of Aventus or a take on Aventus DNA. Upon initial spraying, you will realize just how woody and citrusy this smells. It smells almost like some vintage Aventus (smoky/woody) batches. As it sits on your skin, slowly slowly that juiciness starts to shine. At some point (mid-way) of the scent journey, I sniffed my wrist and almost got that pungent Hacivat/Aventus/Cedrat Boise like sweetness mixed with oakmoss. This is almost potent. I get about 7 to 8hr on my skin. Mild projection, sits closer to skin. But it smells fantastic. If this was a regular grade or A+ then I would have considered purchasing 100ml bottle. At this price point, I am happier with 2013ZZ01 A++ version instead. My rating: 8.5/10 - Might get a big bottle someday during one of the promos.

Review for oil & spray version: Let me know start off by saying this is fairly similar to Roja Dove - Pierre De Velay No. 25. While the latter is stronger and more potent, this A Midsummer Dream is rather on the mellow side of it. They both smell about 85% the same. There are differences between the two which can be picked up on but not enough to warrant having both in your collection. This scent is quite pleasant citrusy-powdery scent. Citrus is there as a backbone and powdery note(s) is prominent. Overall, the kind of powdery drydown I get from Clive No.1 is what the general theme is with this scent from starting till the end. I get about 5hr performance on skin. Sits quite close to the skin. I would pick Pierre De Velay No.25 over this one hands down. Rating: 8/10 - Decent job GP!

Projects really well for an oil and smells 95% the same!

It’s a bout 80% similar to the original. The black currant is a little stronger and sharper in this one. The projection and longevity is great!

Smells just like the real thing!

I own a small bottle of Chanel Le Lion and I prefer the GP oil. It projects better and lasts forever. Thank goodness I found an affordable option.

So beautiful, what a wonderful fragrance- it is spot on.

To my nose, the perfume isn’t as strong or well blended as the original but the scent is so close. Only a trained nose could tell them apart.

Just received order WOW! Shipping was fast I can't believe this was here is 4 days. The quality is spot on in fact I think it smells slightly better than the LV bottle which I own. The dry down is amazing. Certainly going to order more!

I have the original. Sprayed the GP one on one wrist and the authentic one on other wrist. Once at the middle notes, the two were indistinguishable. Amazing! So impressive. Going to get the 100 ml oil.

Very lovely scent. About the 90-95 percent close to the original. Way better silage and lasting power. Lovely, everyone. A very delicate feminine fragrance.
