My experience was great. I have loved Tom Ford Jonquil de Nuit for a long time but would not spend the money on a Full bottle, not because of cost but because of longevity and sillage of the perfume. Your interpretation of it smells exactly the same but lasts so much longer and has better sillage. Like massive! And it costs so much less. Thank you, Linda I look forward to shopping w/ your company for years to come.

I like it a lot. Doesn't contain the oud of the original scent but the rest is very similar and it gives the nice dry amber leather base that I like about the original so much. The oud in the original isnt that great anyways, so if you like Hope and want to have a cleaner version of it, you can definitely take this creation.

I dont know the original, but it's a good one, very oriental, with a gourmand patchouli. Heavy oil though but I think it's beaucause of the ingredients

Amazing inspiration! Bought a 2 mL sample as I love the le labo version. Compared to the original, this is 97% the same. Immediately bought 100mL. Doesn’t project as much as its oil, but the staying power is amazing.

Today is 1/20/26 I received my sample of YSL L’ABSOLU…. idk what GP did what type of voodoo they work but this is listen to me!!!LISTEN!!! 1 to 1 copy I have the og thief is no difference the only thing that sets them apart is I would say that the Og has a stronger presence lets say the og on presence is a 10 GP’s is a 7 1/2 -8 other than that no difference this will be in the forever lineup thank you Gp for this brilliant inspiration of one of my favorite fragrances to date of all time

Just as beautiful & captivating as I remember. I wore this as a signature scent several years ago. Great job.

I also own the original MI. So I feel the differences. The Generic version is about 80% similar. The original is more iris-forward, drier, smokier, with much less citrus, and the caramel is less sweet and not gourmand. The Generic version is more citrusy, less smoky, with a more gourmand caramel, and a softer, vanilla-caramell, powdery drydown. The opening even reminds me a bit of Casamorati/Xerjoff Lira with its citrusy sweet caramel vibe. At first I was a bit disappointed, as the differences are in the notes I love most in the original. However the drydown of this version is beautiful. I’ve received compliments, and on my skin it lasts longer than the original. I give it 4 stars because the differences are exactly in the notes I love most in the original. But after a few weeks of wearing it I truly find it simply delicious. I now use it alongside the original, and I would definitely repurchase it, because I have grown to love the Generic version in its own right.
